Fort Forno

Fort Forno

Built in 1904 by the Austro-Hungarian Navy, Fort Forno was originally a key defensive structure designed to protect Pula from naval attacks. Although it has undergone various changes over the years, it now stands as an important cultural landmark. Visitors can explore its exterior and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the Brijuni Archipelago from its top. Today, the fortress also serves as a venue for theatrical performances and cultural events.
