San Benedetto Fortress




The coastal battery of San Benedetto was a key fortification protecting the Pula region. Built in 1903, its primary function was to defend this strategically important coastal area. Positioned to safeguard the entrance to Pula and nearby maritime routes, the fortress played a crucial role in naval defence. Beyond its historical significance, the site offers stunning views of the coastline and surrounding landscapes. The fortress can be viewed from the outside at any time.
