The most famous variety is Istrian Malvasia, a white wine known for its freshness and delicate floral aromas. In addition to Malvasia, Istria is also renowned for its red wines, such as Teran, distinguished by its rich flavours and earthy tones, as well as dessert wines like Muscat.
